As a user with permission to rewrite package agreements, you may need to understand why an agreement is not eligible for a rewrite. This article will outline the reasons why an package agreement may not be eligible to be rewritten and provide alternate options.
These are the possible reasons an agreement cannot be rewritten:
- if the agreement has been completed
- if the agreement has been cancelled
- if the agreement is currently frozen
- if the agreement has a future freeze date
- if the agreement has a future cancellation date applied
- if the agreement has a credit applied to future payments
- if the agreement has no more scheduled payments AND does not renew
- if the agreement has any invoice in an unpaid, delinquent, or chargeback status
Here are the actions required or alternatives available for each reason:

The only option here is to cancel the current agreement and to create a new agreement. If the Member's package does not contain a per-invoice cancellation fee, it is possible to change the cancellation date, yet it is not possible to delete the cancellation date.
