The filter options in campaign builder enable users to further specify which prospect or members should be included in the campaign recipient list. Filters can change based on ‘Campaign Type’ and 'Target Recipient' selection.
Campaign builder filters available for all recipient types are as follows:
- Locations: The ‘Locations’ filter enables users to narrow email recipients by the club location that their membership is housed within.
- To filter by location, select the drop-down arrow.

The club locations that the users has been granted access to will open below. To select a location or locations, click the small white box next to its name.
- Gender: The ‘Gender’ filter enables users to narrow email recipients by the gender recorded on their account.
- To filter by gender, click the drop-down arrow and select an option from the drop-down list.
- Age Range: The ‘Age Range’ filter enables users to narrow email recipients by age, as recorded on their account.
- To filter by age, click the drop-down arrow.
- The ‘Age Range’ filter will open below. It consists of two text fields: The ‘Min Age’ and the ‘Max Age’. Enter numerical figures, qualified as years, directly into the text fields to create an age range for the search.
- Origins: The ‘Origins’ filter enables users to narrow campaign recipients by the method in which they were first placed within the club’s system, i.e. web lead, T.I., walk-in, or outreach.
- To filter by origins, select the ‘Origins’ drop-down menu.
- Then, choose ‘Select Origins’. The club’s origin types will open below. Select the small white box next to the desired origin type(s).
- Example: If the ‘Walk-In’ and ‘Referral’ origin types are selected then email recipients will only be those prospects or members that were entered as walk-ins or referrals when their account was created.

- Marketing Sources: The ‘Marketing Sources’ filter enables users to narrow campaign recipients by the marketing source that first connected the prospect or member with the club, as recorded when their account was created. Click here to learn how to add/edit marketing sources
- To filter by marketing source, select the drop-down menu.
- Then, choose ‘Select Marketing Sources’. The club’s marketing sources will open below. Select the small white box next to the desired marketing source(s).
- Example: If the ‘FacebookLeadAd’ marketing source is selected then the campaign email recipients will only be those prospects or members who were first connected to the club via a Facebook Lead Ad.
- Interests: The ‘Interests’ filter enables users to narrow campaign recipients by their fitness interest as recorded when their account was created. Click here to learn more about configuring interests
- To filter by interests, select the drop-down menu.
- Then, choose ‘Select Interests’. The club’s interest options will open below. Select the small white box next to the desired interest(s).
Additional Filters for Members
- Check In (Available for ABC and Clubhub Integrations): The check in filter will allow you to target members based on check in activity.

- Example: To only include members who have checked-in in the last 60 days, set the filter to "Include members who have checked in greater than 0 times between 0 days ago and 60 days ago
- Membership Types: The ‘Membership Types’ filter enables users to narrow campaign recipients by the type of membership they purchased. To add or edit Membership Types reach out to your account manager or support@club-os.com
- To filter by membership type, select the drop-down menu.
- Then, choose ‘Select Membership Types’. The membership types the club offers will open below. Select the small white box next to the desired membership type(s).
- Membership Billing Statuses: The ‘Membership Billing Statuses’ filter enables users to narrow campaign recipients by the current billing status of their membership.
- To filter by membership billing statuses, select the drop-down menu.
- Then, choose ‘Select Billing Statuses’. The available billing statuses for the club will open below. Select the small white box next to the desired billing status(es).
- Primary/Secondary Members: The ‘Primary/Secondary Members’ filter enables users to narrow campaign recipients by either primary accounts or secondary accounts.
- To filter by primary/secondary members, select the drop-down arrow.
- The ‘Primary/Secondary Members’ drop-down menu will appear below. Select the menu, and choose the desired option from the drop-down list.

Membership Cancellation Date (Available for ABC, Clubhub and ASF integrations): If the target recipient group includes cancelled members, the membership cancellation date filter will appear and allow you to target members based on the cancellation date of their most recent membership agreement.

- Example: To target members who cancelled in 2020, set the filter: is between 1/1/2020 and 12/31/2020
- Example: To target members who cancelled in 2020, set the filter: is between 1/1/2020 and 12/31/2020
- Payment Method: The payment method filter enables users to narrow members based on ttheir payment method used for the membership payments
- Purchases: The ‘Purchases’ filter enables users to narrow campaign recipients by which select club products they purchased. Products must be configured. To configure products, reach out to your account manager or support@club-os.com
- To filter by purchases, select the drop-down arrow.
- The club’s select products with open below. Click the small white box next to any item to select it. Members will only be contacted if they purchase the selected product(s).
